The Book of Mormon Perspectives Forum developed as a result of Covid. IdigNauvoo.com had been providing a Zionic mix of LDS, CofChrist, Restorationist, local and regional people on the investigations at Nauvoo: for me a tantalizing taste of working from our common interests in history and archaeology. With no dig in 2020, in August we began the forum. Most of the presentations are available on YouTube Book of Mormon Perspectives Forum demonstrating the diversity of backgrounds and interests of presenters and participants. We have had presentations on the Land of Nephi in Peru, Guatemala, Georgia, Malay, Joseph Smith’s head and Chesapeake, each with evidence to support, each with unsolved problems. To treat each respectfully in attempt to learn has resulted in an amicable group of friends and extended family sharing the commonality of some interest in the Book.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to be let in before the meeting.
